A Heart Breaking Truth

My heart nearly stopped when i first time heard about the Hiroshima And Nagasaki bomb blast. I went through some details and I was shocked. I stay in rural area but i often visit metropolitan cities and when I see the different forms of Pollution, I feel bad. I feel bad about us, about other animals, about earth.

Earth, the blue planet, was not the same. It was a very beautiful place with clean atmosphere and green fields. Their were forests, trees, lakes, rivers, mountains and all the god gifted natural elements. Now, the situation has changed. A person living in this modern world, don't have time to admire the beauty of nature. He don't want to be a part of it. He just want to run and not to look behind as he feels no need of it.

The transition of earth is really painful for me. I want to see dense forests, beautiful rain, smokeless sky and a pollution free earth. We, human beings, nearly destroyed this beautiful planet and we are not sorry for it as we have an clever excuse for it. We call it development. I don't want development, I want Earth.

It's a heartbreaking truth that earth has suffered lot in recent centuries and still it is continuing and what is surprising for me is that we are living in a literate society- an educated society! It sound like a strange question. "Are we really educated?" and the answer disappoints me. I wake up early in the morning just to hear the chirps of birds, just to get a glimpse of azure sky, just to breathe in fresh air and just to imagine that how wonderful was our earth and how dreadful our earth is now!
