Shoe Shine

SHOESHINE

In India when a child is born, he gets one among the three classes of family. It can be a rich family or a poor family or a middle class family. There is a vast difference between these classes. They are connected somehow but at the depth you will just find a hierarchical anger and frustration.

Part I
He is the son of a millionaire. He drives the most luxurious cars and he can gift expensive items to his friends and family. He is the owner of a very big company which breaks its own profit records and is on the wheels of success. He have a very big friend circle and most of them belongs to the rich families only.
He is getting ready to visit a grand party and he is in hurry. He picks his favorite car and driver and he is ready to go. Meanwhile, he realizes that he should give some shine to his shoes. The car stops. He gets out. He calls a man and asks him if he can shine his shoes. The man take out his tools and provides an ultimate shine to his shoes. He throws a coin and goes on his way.

Part II

He is the son of a government teacher. He is doing a job in bank and earns around 12000 a month. His parents are looking for a good life partner for him. He is quite frustrated from his life but he manages to do his job well. His boss likes him and so he invites him in a party. He attends it in his formal clothes. Suddenly a man accidentally threw some wine on his dress and shoes. He almost cried at him but soon he realized that he made a mistake. Shouting at a millionaire in a party is no less than a crime.
"Oh I am sorry sir. My mistake." He runs from there quickly. He looks towards his shoes which are now looking dirty. He escapes from the party. He finally finds a poor cobbler and asks him to shine his shoes. He throws some coins towards him and thanks him and leaves.

Part III

He don't know anything about his father. He stays in slums and have a bicycle. He cleans shoes and earns. He hates his job but this is all he can do. He is illiterate and his sons also don't go to any school. He never stole anything but now he feels that there is nothing wrong in it.
He watches luxurious cars, rich people who come running towards him and asks him to rub their shoes. They throws some coins and pass away without saying anything. It was this morning a man came and asked him to shine his shoes. He was looking very rich and he thrown a silver coin. May be accidentally, but he threw an original silver coin. He wanted to return it but he didn't. He thanked god.
After sometime, a man came running towards him. He asked to shine his shoes. They were so dirty as some liquid was spilled on it. For once he thought he should leave this business but he cleaned his shoes. They were shining now. The man went away after thanking him. Now, he will never clean shoes. He will buy one pair and he will clean them daily. He will show his friends his new shining shoes and he knew he will be happy!

Poem

( The views of an artist who wanted so much from his life and always had the desire to be a master of his desire!)

Zindagi-ek junoon

Har vo rasta, jo me bhula nahi,
Vo har ek safar, jo pura hua nahi!
Saanse gin gin k maut ka intejar karna tha,
Or vo kabhi hua nahi!!

Yun dikha ek rasta, jo pehle dikha nahi!
Akela hi chala saath koi mila nahi!
Mere kadmo ki aahat ban gai sath mera
Or ek uddan bhari, fir kabhi ruka nahi!!

Har taraf ek awaaj h, Awajo se darta nahi!
Har ek pal ehsas ka, khuda se yun milta nahi!
Vo taaliyan gunjati hai itni jor se ki
Dil dekhta h par vishwas karta nahi!

Do pal sukoon k mile, muje kabi nai!
Asman ko dekha par chuha use kabhi nahi!
Or aj ye duniya jhukhi h or bus ek shor h dil me kahi!
Ki awaj ban kar lakh sapne, poore honge ya nahi!!

A Heart Breaking Truth

My heart nearly stopped when i first time heard about the Hiroshima And Nagasaki bomb blast. I went through some details and I was shocked. I stay in rural area but i often visit metropolitan cities and when I see the different forms of Pollution, I feel bad. I feel bad about us, about other animals, about earth.

Earth, the blue planet, was not the same. It was a very beautiful place with clean atmosphere and green fields. Their were forests, trees, lakes, rivers, mountains and all the god gifted natural elements. Now, the situation has changed. A person living in this modern world, don't have time to admire the beauty of nature. He don't want to be a part of it. He just want to run and not to look behind as he feels no need of it.

The transition of earth is really painful for me. I want to see dense forests, beautiful rain, smokeless sky and a pollution free earth. We, human beings, nearly destroyed this beautiful planet and we are not sorry for it as we have an clever excuse for it. We call it development. I don't want development, I want Earth.

It's a heartbreaking truth that earth has suffered lot in recent centuries and still it is continuing and what is surprising for me is that we are living in a literate society- an educated society! It sound like a strange question. "Are we really educated?" and the answer disappoints me. I wake up early in the morning just to hear the chirps of birds, just to get a glimpse of azure sky, just to breathe in fresh air and just to imagine that how wonderful was our earth and how dreadful our earth is now!
